• An expert in information governance and data protection laws with proven experience in a social care setting?

If so, then our Departmental Records and IG Compliance Officer role could be perfect for you. Join us and help ensure that our Children and Adult Services department maintain full compliance with policies and procedures relating to the management of information.
This is a fixed term contract for 24 months, with the potential to extend.
You’ll be the departmental Information Governance Ambassador, meaning you will be the first point of contact for all departmental managers and information asset owners on all aspects of records management, request handling, data protection and information governance.
You’ll help with the local translation of information governance policy and rules and you’ll raise awareness across the department, working closely with the corporate IG team to achieve training standards, review processes, practice and procedures to maintain a high standard of records management and reduce the risk of data breaches.
You’ll help the department keep our residents’ information safe and secure.

We predominantly work remotely with some travel to / within Hounslow when needed. Although it is important that you will be able to travel to Hounslow when required, we do not anticipate that you will need to work in Hounslow five days a week, and we offer flexible working arrangements.
