We are looking for someone to join our Green and Blue Spaces Development Team who will help us provide world class parks and facilities by delivering effective management strategies and a rolling programme of refurbishment. As part of this role you will act as a point of contact between the council and the users of its leisure assets, including using marketing to promote facilities and healthy lifestyle initiatives (including use of social media and promotional events), and have involvement in obtaining funding through bid applications, sponsorship and other sources to support development and initiatives.
The wider Green and Blue Spaces Team works closely with a range of internal and external partners to ensure the parks and waterways are safe, enables volunteering opportunities, and supports biodiversity, active lifestyles, and events.
