About the role
The ESCC Schools Finance Team, provides financial advice, guidance, support and training to schools and academies in and around East Sussex. Our busy, dynamic and friendly team are looking for a supportive and enthusiastic team member to join us in delivering and developing our valued service into the future.

This interesting and varied role will give you the opportunity to provide vital support and guidance to Bursars, Business Managers and other school staff.
Your role will involve providing well-informed advice to support schools’ day to day financial processes and management, delivering training, providing advice and support. You will contribute to initiatives and service developments supporting schools to successfully manage their resources, collaborating with and supporting team members to deliver a high quality service.
The team is formally based in Lewes. However, we work in a hybrid way with technology enabling us to work both in the office and remotely. From time to time your role may involve travel to schools and academies in East Sussex.
If you are a committed and proactive team player, have some knowledge of financial management (ideally in schools), have IT skills (particularly excel), excellent communication skills and a real commitment to customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
