Are you looking for a job where every day is different? Where you can help support some of the biggest projects the council has ever undertaken. And work with a really friendly team that will help you to fulfil your potential and provide a stepping stone into a fantastic new career.
Yes? Then step this way!
We have some major, priority projects to deliver over the next few years and to do that we need you! We are expanding our innovation and projects team and are looking for a project officer to join us for two years – giving you time to get stuck in, make the most of your existing skills and learn lots of new ones.
The team sits within the council’s strategy and innovation service and you will help support projects and business change across the authority. And we’d really like you to take the lead on some of that work – so there’s some brilliant experience up for grabs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has recent relevant experience of projects, is keen to broaden their project management knowledge and support our corporate project managers to deliver large scale service and business change. In return, we can offer a really great working environment where you are empowered to use your initiative and learn from others.
In return, we offer successful applicants a competitive salary, a great place to work with enthusiastic and supportive colleagues. As well as this, we actively promote a good work/life balance and encourage continuous learning and development. We offer a range of employment benefits including a local government pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, free on-site parking and discounted leisure facilities.
