Outreach Worker

Your role in our journey

As an organised and enthusiastic individual, you will be part of a wider Family Centre team, who together, offers early help to some of our most vulnerable families in the south and Penistone area of Barnsley.

What you’ll need

South and Penistone Family Centre’s are looking for a highly committed and motivated individual qualified to level 3 in a relevant field to join our outreach team. You will also need to evidence that you have relevant experience of working with children, young people or families

Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to develop relationships with parents, professionals and the wider team. The role will include working and travelling across the south and Penistone area targeting, planning and delivering a range of outreach activities in different venues across the locality.
