Job introduction

Hours of work: INA 27.5 hours per week, MDSA 2.5 hours per week (30 minutes daily)
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)
Fixed term until July 2022

About the role

Individual Needs Assistant (27.5 hours per week, Single Status Grade 3 Point 7) and Midday Supervisory Assistant (2.5 hours per week, Single Status Grade 1 Point 2)

We are looking to recruit an energetic, patient and caring individual who has a passion for working with and supporting pupils with special educational needs.

Grovelands Community Primary School is looking to recruit a Special Needs Assistant to join our High Needs Facility.

The successful candidate should be prepared to work hard, be a positive and productive member of the staff team and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life. We expect the most from our pupils so a candidate that has high expectations; has evidence of quality practice; will make learning fun and has a genuine belief that all children have the potential for success would be ideally suited to this post.
