Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.65 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
The Skylark Federation are looking for a Teaching Assistant and lunchtime assistant to join our welcoming and friendly village school at Barcombe. This would be a great opportunity to be part of a popular group of schools that are expanding and we would love to welcome you to our Federation. We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.
The hours of work are 8.30am until 12.00 noon and 1.30pm until 3.15pm as a teaching assistant and then 12.00 noon until 1.00pm as a lunchtime assistant.
The successful candidate will support learning and contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, working alongside the teacher. The successful candidate will be expected to advance pupils learning in a range of ways, including working with individuals and small groups. We will provide you with any relevant training needs.
Barcombe School has five classes and the teaching assistant role would be to work with our youngest children, in and out of the classroom. We are in a lovely setting but an easy commute from Lewes and other areas.
