We are looking to appoint an engaging and nurturing teaching assistant to work alongside a delightful and energetic child with Special Educational Needs/ADHD (development delay including difficulties in social communication).
The position involves:
- Close collaboration with the child’s family, class teachers and our SENDCo.
- Delivery of bespoke learning, interventions and fun.
- Working five days per week (term-time only), 8.30am—3.30pm.
- 6.5 hours per day plus 30 minutes for lunch (32.5 hours per week).
The ideal candidate should have experience of working with children with special educational needs and must have GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in maths and English, with good levels of spoken and written English. In return, you will receive the finest support to help you to be the best you and your pupil can be, with everyone’s well-being always at the core of what we do.
The position will be initially offered on an initial 6 month probationary contract and, subject to performance, is likely to be extended.
