We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced officer to provide specialist support to a team which delivers Community Safety, Resilience and Flood Risk Management covering a range of statutory services including the Bedford Borough Community Safety Partnership, Anti-Social Behaviour, CCTV, emergency planning, business continuity and flood risk management.
We are looking for someone with the skills to develop and deliver reactive and planned workload in relation to the Community Safety Partnership. Using the best available information and evaluated good practice produce effective strategic plans and priorities to actively improve the quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors to the Borough and make Bedford safer from crime & disorder.
This is an opportunity for a confident and experienced professional to demonstrate the difference they can make by working with residents, businesses and partners to improve community safety.
You must be a positive, highly motivated and organised individual with the ability to deliver against a challenging and rewarding work plan.
