Do you want to be part of an experienced and enthusiastic team?
Are you looking for a role with variety, where you can be relied on for your expertise and experience?
Do your skills currently include commitment to customer care and quality service; planning and prioritising; the ability to follow legal and administrative rules and processes?
As a strong team player with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail, you will have extensive experience of working to legal or administrative processes. You will be both polite and resilient when dealing with more difficult customers.
This is the perfect opportunity to come and develop skills and further develop your career.
The Licensing Team plays an important role within the Council, processing high volumes of customer applications for a range of licences including taxis.
This is a very diverse role, where you will be regularly switching between the types of work you are doing; from taking customer calls and payments, to using procedure notes and complex information systems to process applications to a high standard and responding to a high volume of emails.
It is a fast-paced role, where changes to the way we work need to be quickly implemented to reflect ever-changing legislation in these areas, and where an ability to quickly learn and retain information is invaluable.
Your existing experience of providing excellent customer service will be used every day, as you contact our customers via phone, email, and face-to-face.
If you have a good eye for detail, are open to learning new skills, and enjoy being part of a busy and pro-active team, then we’d like to hear from you.
This post is a part time role, 15 hours per week. All applications will be considered.
For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Paul Hughes, Licensing Manager on 01483 523189.
We do not accept CVs without a completed application form. Strictly no agencies please.
Closing date for applications: 9:00am on Wednesday 3rd November 2021.
Interview date: 11th and 12th November 2021.
Please note we do not accept applications after the time given on the advert.
