We are looking for candidates with extensive experience of providing legal advice relating to major regeneration & development projects. You will have excellent communication and IT skills, good commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team of solicitors and legal assistants.
You will be confident in negotiating and drafting complex and high value agreements and handling high profile commercial matters. You will have the ability to work well under pressure and assist the Principal Lawyer to manage a busy workload to tight deadlines.
The successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor or barrister.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.
