PLANNING OFFICER – DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
37 HOURS A WEEK
GRADE F £27,741 - £31,346 per year
Located between Nottingham and Derby, Erewash is a diverse borough encompassing the towns of Long Eaton and Ilkeston surrounded by the rural Green Belt. We are looking for a forward thinking, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our customer focussed and proactive award-winning Development Management team.
The Planning Officer post holder will be a team player with a commitment to achieving quality outcomes for Erewash. They will carry a caseload of mixed application types, be highly motivated and have excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
You will need a Diploma or Degree in Town Planning (or equivalent) and be a Member (or eligible for membership) of Royal Town Planning Institute. In addition you will need experience of dealing with a wide range of planning applications and associated work and have an understanding and knowledge of current planning legislation.
