Adult Disability Service (West)
The Adult Disability Service provide support to adults with a learning or physical disability. The team comprises of Team Managers, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Community Learning Disability Nurses and Community Care Officers.
We are looking for a Community Care Officer who can deliver first class support to vulnerable adults with a physical and or learning disability. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, resilient Community Care Officer who can support the delivery of a service that aims to promote true citizenship allowing individuals with a disability to be influential and active members of their community.
You will be Self Motivated, Flexible and resilient in providing excellent team support whilst operating within departmental Policies and Procedures.
In the current situation, there is a need for our staff to be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. In line with HCC’s current guidance, you will be working remotely for the immediate future.

English Fluency: The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
