About the role
This is an exciting project management role that will involve co-production work with a schools and a wide range of service providers.
You will:lead collaborative work with Local Authority, Schools, Health, Police and Community and Voluntary Sector partners in the production and launch of a comprehensive toolkit for schools and sixth form colleges that provides guidance and materials to support all aspects of the short, medium and long term response to the unexpected death or suicide of a pupil.
This is a 9 month role working 30 hours a week. You will lead on the production of the toolkit, its testing with schools and the final dissemination and communications to all partners. The toolkit will be developed to provide a template that can be adapted for use across Sussex and you will present to Sussex wide partners on it's progress and the final product.

Permanent employees are eligible to apply for a secondment where they have:
held their current post for at least twelve months, obtained agreement from their line manager and have a defined development need that may be met through the secondment or there is a defined organisational need that will be met via the secondment.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours full time or term-time only.
