An exciting opportunity has arisen for a System Support Officer within Children's Services.
In this role you will provide system support, helpdesk, training and system development, utilising the CAPITA One Education system and/or LiquidLogic. Wirral are in the process of moving away from CAPITA One as we are replacing the system with the LiquidLogic Early Years and Education System (EYES) over the next 18 months. The successful candidate will need to be able to support CAPITA One initially (training will be provided where necessary), in the knowledge that over time they will be required to learn and then support LiquidLogic EYES, as well as supporting our existing LiquidLogic systems.
This is a fast paced environment requiring strong systems awareness and a focus on team work and the needs of systems users. Good technical knowledge is essential and the ability to act quickly and flexibly. Excellent communication skills are required, ability to translate customers needs into system requirements, attention to detail and good organisational skills. This role also requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrates initiative when working alone.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.
