Our Ofsted report, June 2017, stated: ‘All leaders in the school, including governors, are committed to providing a broad curriculum for pupils. This can be seen in all classrooms where pupils enjoy the topics that they study’. Our rich curriculum is supported by specialist drama, art and music teachers. We love learning from the environment we have around the school, making regular use of our adjoining park, school gardens and Walthamstow Marshes, as well as the very best of what London has to offer.
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. Placement will be to support a 1:1 SEND child but applicants must be able to work across all Key Stages. The post will be for one year fixed term in the first instance. The person we appoint will be positive, enthusiastic, flexible, creative, use initiative, caring and hardworking and will join our excellent team of support staff who are very much valued at Stoneydown. Changes to deployment, either by year group or as 1:1 SEND support follow the needs of the school.
