In this role you will continually improve the documentation of Wirral's arts and museums collections to improve collections accessibility and support the development of the exhibition programme.

You will be responsible for the collections management systems, accessions registers and physical & digital documentation.

You will manage the volunteer programme that supports the management and care of the collections, which may include student or work experience placements.

You will have an understanding of best practice in collection care and management and knowledge of SPECTRUM standards.

You will need to be able to show excellent organisational, excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills

You will have experience of handling, condition checking & packing art and museum objects.

Ideally you will have a track record in collections research.

Interviews will be held, face to face, on 18 November 2021 at Williamson Art Gallery & Museum.
