About the role
ISEND is committed to collaborating with partner organisations. Our joint commissioning work is at an exciting juncture, as we develop a greater range of jointly commissioned provision within ISEND.
We are developing the team that leads this work to make it be even more effective. We are looking for a Commissioning Manager. We are looking for an individual experienced in developing relationships across professions. This role will initially prioritise Clinical commissioning groups around jointly commissioned projects. Ideally, you will have direct experience in commissioning from provider services, and supporting and developing work with different partners, such as schools and social care. Although Lewes based, there will be some travel across East Sussex involved.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
East Sussex County Council is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all suitable candidates, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age. All applications are treated on merit.
