The starting salary for this role is £24,780 per annum for a 36 hour working week.
This role is based at Guildford Borough Council offices. However, due to the Covid-19 situation we are currently working from home and while there will be an expectation to attend the office in Guildford moving forwards, remote working is encouraged. Our team manage a range of business, staffing and recruitment activities across the Adult Social Care Directorate, for and on behalf of our frontline managers. This means they can focus on making a difference to the residents of Surrey. As a result of the increased activity in this area, we are recruiting to meet the demands of the service. In this role, you will be leading on various processes such as recruitment, OM and business support. The role is fast-paced, but we offer a thorough induction and support program to help you learn new processes. Once you are up and running, we are always looking to support development by offering bespoke project work so you can get involved in a variety of tasks.
We are looking for some who is committed and holds the value of being the best you can be on a day to day basis. You will need to be a strong administrator with an eye for detail and able to manage several processes at one time. You will need to have excellent IT skills and be a real team player who is willing to help and support colleagues as required.
Excellent customer service is key to this role as you will be working with frontline social care managers on a day to day basis and you will often be the first point of contact for candidates, and in recruitment first impressions are so important.
