DIGITAL CONTENT OFFICER
£27,741 - £29,577 per annum
Full Time - 37 Hours per week - Permanent
For the last nine months we have been working on redesigning our website from the ground up including rewriting all the content and adding new digital services.
The first phase of the redesign went live in July 2021 and we are aiming to complete the remaining work by December.
Our work won’t stop there, and we are looking to recruit two digital content officers to help develop the site further and keep it up to date and fresh.
We also have in place a programme to review and update all the content and assets to ensure they meet the latest accessibility standards for public sector websites.
As we have an ambitious timetable, you will need to hit the ground running. Our main content platforms are VerseOne and SharePoint and you will need experience of both.
You must also be able to rewrite digital content specifically for the web, produce HTML and have an in-depth knowledge of website accessibility standards.
Your experiences should also include managing content in a large-scale website environment and maintaining an extensive library of digital assets.
The post is based at the Arun Civic Centre in Littlehampton.
In addition to the above we offer:
- 26 days leave, rising to 30 days (subject to continuous service) PLUS bank holidays
- Flexitime including an opportunity to accrue a further 12 days flexi leave per year
