ABOUT THE ROLE
This role covers planning for and overseeing the development of active travel schemes followed by their monitoring and evaluation upon completion. Your key responsibilities will include managing the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) process, liaising with stakeholders, bidding for funds and embedding LTN 1/20 and “Gear Change” principles into the organisation. You’ll play a vital role in designing our strategy and taking ownership of key documents.

To be successful in the role, you’ll need to be well-versed in active travel initiatives with experience in delivering projects to a high standard. A thorough knowledge of LTN 1/20 is essential along with an appreciation of how engineers can design these principles within the constraints of the existing network.
