About the role
We have number of exciting opportunities for someone to join and support the Council’s Modernising Back Office System (MBOS) Programme.
MBOS is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programme which will implement a new software solution to replace the Council’s current SAP system. These systems deliver critical back-office services for the Council covering Finance, Procurement and HR. This is a large, complex and high-profile project which will help create a platform and shape the delivery of back-office services for years to come.
The project managers will support the back office functional workstream leads with planning and delivery of the business outcomes ensuring a successful transition to the new system.
We are looking for someone who has had experience in delivering projects and programmes who demonstrates a high level of pro-activity, attention to detail and understanding of the project lifecycle. The role will be key to ensuring a co-ordinated approach across the programme and understanding delivery capacity, risks, dependencies and planning to mage these elements effectively.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
