About the role
We have a number of exciting opportunities for someone to join and support the Council’s Modernising Back Office System (MBOS) Programme.
MBOS is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programme which will implement a new software solution to replace the Council’s current SAP system. These systems deliver critical back-office services for the Council covering Finance, Procurement and HR. This is a large, complex and high-profile project which will help create a platform and shape the delivery of back-office services for years to come.
The MBOS Programme will be migrating data from the Councils legacy systems into the new ERP solution and data quality is at the heart of how well the new solution will operate. The data specialist role will be an integral part of ensuring that the programme has quality data that is mapped and migrated effectively.
We are looking for someone who is an expert in data and how it is used functionally and in an ERP system. Who demonstrates a high level of pro-activity, who understands how data issues arise and how they can be resolved.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
East Sussex County Council is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all suitable candidates, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age. All applications are treated on merit.
