About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join and support the Council’s Modernising Back Office System (MBOS) Programme.
MBOS is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programme which will implement a new software solution to replace the Council’s current SAP system. These systems deliver critical back-office services for the Council covering Finance, Procurement and HR. This is a large, complex and high-profile project which will help create a platform and shape the delivery of back-office services for years to come.
The programme support role will be supporting the programme team in organising, tracking and reporting on activities and is an excellent introduction to large scale ERP programmes and how they operate and deliver change.
We are looking for someone who has had some exposure to projects and programmes who demonstrates a high level of pro-activity and attention to detail. The role will provide varied support and help to ensure that the programme tasks are tracked, reported and completed on time.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
East Sussex County Council is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all suitable candidates, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age. All applications are treated on merit.
