About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Administrative Support Assistant to join our Day Service at Linden Court, Eastbourne supporting adults with learning disabilities. As a member of our team you'll hold a vital role in supporting service delivery.
A good knowledge of administration systems and being able to translate information from databases and creating and updating spreadsheets is an essential element of this role, therefore extensive use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook are pivotal along with excellent organisational/prioritising skills. Experience of working in an operational provider setting, preferably supporting vulnerable people would be ideal but is not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced administrative role within Adult Social Care & Health. As the main point of contact in a forward-facing role for clients, carers and stakeholders primarily in the reception area, you will need to demonstrate extremely effective communication skills and provide great customer service. Working in this service you will be part of a team supporting people with profound learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour. As part of the role, you will, on a day to day basis be around clients with support needs in this area. You will primarily be responsible for the day to day office tasks and give full administrative support to a friendly and helpful team. You will work closely with the management team within their office base and remotely supporting the other offices.
We are a county wide team and travel across our various work bases may be a requirement to cover annual leave and other absences. The main sites are in Eastbourne, Lewes, Bexhill and Crowborough. Business mileage allowance is paid for travel undertaken as part of this role.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
