GRADE C £19,312 to £20,092 (pro rata)
Part-time 29 hours per week on fixed hours as follows:
Wednesdays 07:00 – 15:00
Thursdays 07:00 – 14:30
Fridays 07:00 – 14:30
Saturdays 07:00 – 15:00
We are looking for a confident and professional individual to assist in the running of our Markets Service in Ilkeston and Long Eaton.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a market or retail environment. They will act as an ambassador for the council’s Market’s Service and will be expected to collect tolls, enforce council market rules and assist with the development and promotion of markets in the Borough.
You will need:
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- experience in cash handling
- experience in promoting a service
- good IT skills
- to be able to work on your own initiative and within a team
- access to a vehicle
- to be prepared to work outside in all weathers
