The job role
Are you an enthusiastic, reliable and an organised person who is ready for a challenging role, then this opportunity within the Housing Options Team would be suited to you?
We are looking for someone to be responsible for providing a front-line service to people with complex needs back into work. Key to this will be building relationships and developing strategies with a variety of other agencies.
You must have a clear understanding of Housing needs actively working to prevent homelessness and offering Housing related support.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work by themselves, whilst able to establish strong working relationships with others at all levels. They must be able to work to deadlines and accurately under pressure.
A good knowledge of Housing and Housing Benefit law is important.
You will also work closely with the staff at the Jobcentre.
