We are looking for an energetic, passionate and highly effective Volunteer Coordinator to join our dedicated team to help support families in need in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Family Friends is a small local charity, very proud of its strong local reputation, which provides short term early help support to families with children up to the age of 13 who are facing challenges and difficult times and who live in the borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. These services are delivered by both professionals and volunteers and we are very highly regarded in the locality by our service users and other professionals.
Your job will be to recruit, train and manage Family Friends’ volunteers and to oversee the delivery and development of the Volunteer Service. We currently have a great team of 35 volunteers who provide targeted support to individual families on a weekly basis. We are looking to increase both the number of volunteers and the range of activities in which they are involved, including facilitating group work to children and parents, fundraising, PR, and administration.
