A 2-year post (and potential internal secondment opportunity) has arisen within Sefton Arc Technology Enabled Care Team based at 209 Linacre Lane for the Careline Assistant manager role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the Technology Enabled Care/Assistive Technologies team and administrative function. The Technology Enabled Care Team are working together with Adult Social Care to with the aim of improving digital inclusion for Sefton residents, and to assist in supporting individuals living longer more independently at home through Sefton’s Technology Enabled Care Solutions Strategy 2021-2025
The role involves contact with a wide range of individuals from health professionals, service providers to patients. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential elements for the post. This role will also involve supporting our other programmes and services in a holistic approach to individual and family well-being. You will be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information. We are looking for someone with good computer, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Your role will be to:
- To assist the SeftonArc Service Manager develop and implement the Councils changing strategy of existing and emerging technologies designed to assist its own clients and those of private clients.
- The Promotion and marketing of Assistive Technology.
- To keep abreast of changes/developments in Assistive Technology to ensure that the service is kept up to date with any changes.
