Treasury Management Assistant

The Technical Finance team is looking to recruit a part time accountancy assistant to support its Treasury Management function, ensuring that the council and the pension fund have sufficient funds available to support its services.

 

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a finance office, with knowledge of either purchase ledger, credit control or bank reconciliation activities.

 

Working with the Pension Fund and Treasury Management Accountant, you will process transactions from the bank accounts onto the  cash flow forecasting system, prepare cash flow projections, process payments on the online banking system, and communicate with the council's bank and other external advisers.

 

Due to the nature of the work, the hours must be worked in the mornings from 8.30 until 12.15.
