Located on the Lancashire coast, with Preston, Blackpool and the Lake District nearby, the borough of Wyre is an area of great contrast and includes urban areas, seaside resorts, a port, traditional market towns and picturesque villages within an extensive rural area that includes part of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.


To join our highly professional and successful Building Control section you will be a qualified, experienced Building Control Officer or have the surveying/construction experience and qualifications necessary to satisfy the entry requirements for corporate membership of the CABE or RICS. You should also be a good communicator with a forward thinking enthusiastic attitude, highly motivated, innovative and customer-orientated.
