About the role
We require highly motivated people for our pool of Bank JCR Support Workers to provide ad-hoc support and cover. The post is part of a joint Adult Social Care & Health Team.
As a Support Worker you will visit people in their own homes, helping them to regain their independence and promoting quality of life. You will be implementing care, rehabilitation and exercise programmes working with occupational therapists and physiotherapists. You will also support the client with personal care activities such as washing / dressing and meal preparation. It is rewarding, varied work that allows caring people like you to really shine.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member
On-going paid training and support will be provided. A variety of working patterns are available, with shifts from 7am to 1pm and 4pm to 10pm requiring cover.
Due to the nature of the post the applicant must be able to travel independently, have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes and hold a full clean driving licence. Mileage is paid for travel between clients.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
