We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Organisational Development Practitioner to join our team! You will be working alongside a team of OD, internal comms and learning practitioners to deliver our people strategy to develop our talent for now and the future and to create a high performance culture, where our people feel happy and healthy to be the best they can be.
The ability to act with a high degree of autonomy in a self-directed manner is important. You will have a track record of contracting, designing and delivering high-quality organisational development interventions.
You will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to making a difference for residents, you will role model our values and will be an ambassador for the Council. Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our people to ensure they are they are at the heart of everything we do.
You will support our managers and workforce on all aspects of organisational development to bring about service and culture change. You will be resilient; a skilled collaborator, comfortable with challenge, change, complexity and uncertainty and will be able to navigate and manage different stakeholder needs and multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
' Organisational Development
' Employee Engagement
' Talent Management
' Change Management

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.
