The Integrated Accommodation Commissioning Team is recruiting a Quality and wellbeing Monitoring Officer on a fixed term 12-month contract or a one year secondment to ensure that residential and nursing care services commissioned in Hertfordshire are safe, high quality and good value.
This rewarding role provides an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on the care of people in Hertfordshire. The post holder will combine an understanding of regulated care delivery with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for people with care needs.
You will be responsible for working as part of a team to undertake visits across 10-20% of commissioned residential and nursing care, in conjunction with the Integrated Accommodation Commissioning Teams annual monitoring programme, to explore resident satisfaction and wellbeing, delivered with the close involvement of key partners including the Care Quality Commission, local providers, the Herts Care Providers Association and Hertfordshire’s Clinical Commissioning Groups.
As part of Hertfordshire County Council’s response around the current Covid-19 pandemic this role will be crucial to support the wider system partners to understand what is happening across Adult Care residential and nursing homes and to help direct resources and support across the system.
