Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Administrator
37 hours a week, term time
Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The Governors of this are seeking to appoint:
A committed, flexible and highly organised person to support the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Attendance Officer. The responsibilities include:
• operational, administrative support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead,
• improving the attendance of students with frequent and/or long-term persistent absence, including truancy and
• Safeguarding and Child Protection across the school as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Experience of safeguarding, particularly in an educational setting, would be desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
The salary grade is Single Status grade 8, spinal column points 20-22, £23,598-£25,487 pro rata. The actual salary is £20,817 to £22,483 a year for 37 hours a week, term time, plus 5 days in the holidays.
