About the role
The Headteacher and Governing Board are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant 2 (TA2) with an MDSA contract to be part of our committed team. We are a popular school which is well respected in the local community. The post will be fixed term until July 2022. The TA2 role is for 26.25 hours per week and MDSA role is for 6.25 hours. The roles are part time and term time only (salaries will therefore be pro rata), working 39 weeks a year with 5.85 weeks annual leave. The role will be to support a child in KS2 with an Educational Health Care Plan during the school day.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, ideally hold a relevant qualification or be working towards one, have experience of working with children, be sensitive towards the needs of the children and their families and will ideally hold a valid first aid qualification. The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory completion of all pre-employment requirements.

~ have an uncompromising passion to secure academic and emotional progress for every child
