We are looking for a talented individual to join our behaviour and pastoral team at Glenleigh Park Academy. We believe in supporting every child to achieve their full potential and are looking for someone with the skills to add to our committed staff team. 

Do you have the skills and practical methodology for addressing children’s difficulties on a day-to-day basis?  Can you build strong relationships with children that are built on positive communication; mutual respect and listening, to understand the child's experience?

We are looking for a behavioural and pastoral assistant who will; 

  • Support individual pupils in achieving specific and carefully planned targets
  • Support our Safeguarding & Welfare Lead in meeting the needs of pupils who are vulnerable through observations, planning support, leading targeted interventions and supporting with admin as required
  • Liaise effectively with parents and external agencies to ensure that provision is well matched to the individual needs of pupils
  • Commit to their own professional development and engage with a wide range of professional development opportunities
