About the role

Exams invigilators required for The St Leonards Academy - Single Status Grade 4 Point 10 (£10.01 per hour)

We are seeking to recruit new exam invigilators to work with the existing team in the running and facilitating of secondary public and internal examinations at The St Leonards Academy.

The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today's young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours.

Led by our experienced Exams Officer, you will need to be able to:

  • Understand and apply detailed written instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Concentrate and work quickly under pressure
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Use initiative in response to unexpected situations
  • Be aware and committed to equal opportunities and diversity

The role is claims only and hours are offered as and when the academy runs examinations. Key responsibilities including checking the exam environment before, during and after a session, including efficient and proper management of post exam duties, checking exam papers remain in the hall and monitor the behaviour of students during the exam.
