About the role

CARETAKER & MAINTENANCE WORKER (Roselands Infants School)
Single Status Grade 4 Points 9-10 (£18,933 - £19,312) + £750 allowance
37 hours per week, full time (52 weeks a year) 
Permanent contract, Monday – Friday 7.00am – 3.30pm, paid annual leave

We are seeking to appoint a committed and proactive Caretaker & Maintenance Worker as part of our Trust’s Site Team. This position will be based at Roselands Infants School, Eastbourne. If you have the skills, drive and enthusiasm this could be the perfect role for you.

Your role will be to provide an effective caretaking service and to promote the maintenance of a safe and secure school. You will need to demonstrate high quality building maintenance skills.   The duties are varied and include site security, maintenance including decorating, working with contractors and health and safety compliance. 

You will work within health and safety guidelines and will ensure the school building looks its best at all times. Whilst you will be working alone you will be an important member of a dedicated site team and will be supported by the Trust’s Director of Estates. Support and training will be provided.
