About the role
Willingdon Primary School is looking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant to work with a child who is currently in Year 2 who has Cerebral Palsy and physical needs (including gastrostomy tube/PEG feeding and intimate care). Experience of working with young people of similar needs is desirable although full training will be available for the successful candidate. Experience of non-verbal communication systems such as Makaton or PECS would be advantageous.

The hours of employment are 29 hours and 10 minutes per week 8.50am to 3.10pm Monday to Friday term time only. As this role is part time, the salary will be pro rata.
This is currently a fixed term post until July 2022, with permanent opportunities available within the school in the future.
