Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 4.65 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
Bursar 3 required for November 2021
Following the retirement of our current Bursar, this is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and dedicated staff, happy and motivated pupils and committed Governors.
We are a small rural primary school and are looking for someone who:-
* can act in support of the head teacher as an admin and financial manager for the school
* can work independently demonstrating initiative and proactivity
* has a sound knowledge of the financial workings of a school
* has a recognised qualification in basic accounting or equivalent
* has considerable experience of budget monitoring and account reconciliation
* is willing to undertake further training and works well as part of a team
The post is for 24.75 hours per week, worked over 3 days.
The rate of pay will be on Single Status Grade 8 Points 20-22
This is currently £23,952-£25,487 pro rata
