Help us be the difference for children and young people
Wirral is home to vibrant, energetic and engaged communities, people who take real ownership of their local area and are passionate about making Wirral a better place. The council and its partners have pledged to #BeTheDifference.
We’ve got ambitious targets to meet by 2025. To achieve everything we have promised to our residents, we need people who are driven and ready to deliver the very best for our communities - #BeTheDifference.
The role of Advanced Social Work Practitioners in Wirral is empowering and insightful. You will be able to develop your management and leadership skills whilst still receiving dedicated support and guidance.
You will play a role in ensuring robust oversight of cases, offering advice, guidance and support in a timely and appropriate way as well as developing key analytical and performance management skills.
Fundamentally, in this role, you will help to strengthen the offer of support provided to young people and families in Wirral.
You will also have access to a range of learning and development opportunities provided directly by our professional and dedicated Practice Improvement Team who are accessible and available to deliver practical guidance, learning and advice as and when you need it. You will be supported and guided to take the next step when this is right for you.
As an organisation, we don't just offer a competitive salary but a host of additional benefits which mean that our employees thrive working here. You will become integrated into our collective family, involved in a programme of thought-provoking and relevant staff engagement events, led by visible leaders and managers. You will have access to a range of wellbeing support, tailored to your needs and responsive to the challenging and difficult circumstances you encounter.
