Job Title: Assistant Team Manager
Salary Range: £35,745 pa - £39,880 pa
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term 20th September 2022
Community Solutions Team are looking to recruit an Assistant Team Manager (ATM). The team delivers the social care service finding and micro commissioning functions for people with disabilities in Hertfordshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape services for people with disabilities, within the Commissioning Team for Adults with Disabilities. CCAD brings together the macro and micro commissioning elements and close joint working with the Adult Disability, 0-25 Together and Integrated Discharge services to improve the experience of people with disabilities accessing care and support. The ATM will contribute to and support the development of practice, procedures and policy and the professional development of the team.
The post will have responsibility for; the supervision of staff, team performance, monitoring systems, quality assurance and overseeing resource allocation.
The ATM is accountable for the performance of the team providing performance reporting and management, and team appraisals. In addition, the ATM provides expert information, advice and guidance in complex situations using sound knowledge of planning, commissioning, and brokering of services to deliver positive outcomes for citizens.
With a background in the operational social care sector, commissioning or working closely with care providers. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of leading service delivery in complex systems, have good report writing skills, the ability to interpret needs and financial data, the ability to demonstrate a track record in partnership working, and have good communication and leadership skills.
