We are looking for a forward-thinking dynamic officer to join our Food and Safety Team which sits within the well-established Mid Kent Environmental Health partnership. The successful candidate will be fully qualified to undertake Food Hygiene official controls and any experience in health and safety would be desirable.
You will predominately work across two of the partnership areas (Swale & Maidstone) investigating complaints, undertaking inspections of a diverse range of premises, and carrying out investigations in line with regulatory requirements. You will be a strong team player with a positive outlook and excellent communication and IT skills within the work setting and wider community.
In taking on this varied role you will deliver services to make our boroughs a safer place to work, live and visit and you will help maintain a level playing field across the partnership in which businesses can flourish.
