The newly created Corporate Property Business Unit works to ensure the active management of the districts commercial built estate by providing an “in house” property maintenance and facilities management service, building services and caretaking operations across Castle House, Newark Beacon and the Buttermarket Shopping Centre. The team also focuses on management of design and building commercially led property contracts relating to Council property.
Newark and Sherwood District Council has been awarded grant funding of £25 million along with many other transformational estate projects on the horizon.
You will manage the delivery of corporate project construction projects from inception through to completion and ensuring the project delivery through construction project management. This is a great opportunity to work for an ambitious authority. Previous experience in commercial project management delivery is essential within either the private or public sector.
