Epping Forest District Council are recruiting for several key roles within its Housing Needs Service.

These roles present an opportunity to join the service at a pivotal point in its development and work with a highly skilled and motivated team who are committed to providing robust, quality services that effect real change in the overall wellbeing of residents in housing need.

This is an extremely exciting time to join the Housing and Communities Strategy Team as we review a number of key documents that provide the opportunity to embed our health and wellbeing agenda within our housing and homelessness strategies.

The Housing Needs Service sits within the wider Community and Wellbeing Directorate which employs a purposeful holistic approach to meeting the housing, health and wellbeing needs of residents across the District.

You will work with the Housing and Community Strategy Manager leading on the review of key strategies and polices ensuring meaningful consultation and compliance with the democratic and governance processes.

You will have a good understanding of health, wellbeing and housing issues but, more importantly, a willingness to learn, an attention to detail and a desire to effect change through the work that you do.
