Epping Forest District Council are recruiting for several key roles within its Housing Needs Service.
These roles present an opportunity to join the service at a pivotal point in its development and work with a highly skilled and motivated team who are committed to providing robust, quality services that effect real change in the overall wellbeing of residents in housing need.
As a Reviews and Performance Officer your role is integral to ensuring robust services of a consistently high quality are delivered.
With an attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex material and communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally you will be responsible for dealing with homelessness and suitability reviews, complaints and appeals as well as FOIs and Councillor and MP enquiries.
You will need to have expert knowledge and understanding of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, the Homelessness Regulations 2018, the Housing Act 1996 Part VI and VII (as amended), the Localism Act 2011 and the Homelessness Code of Guidance.
The role also affords you the opportunity to work closely with the Housing Needs Management Team to shape and develop services informed by common themes you identify within the reviews, appeals, complaints and enquiries you handle.
