We are currently recruiting for a Supporting Healthy Weight Advisor to support various healthy weight initiatives including individual and group programmes, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. On a day- to-day basis this would include supporting the Project Officer and Specialist Practitioners with Adult and Child Weight management services, arranging, booking and organising face to face as well as online courses, conducting pre, post and long term follow up measurement sessions, undertaking quality assurance of programme Facilitators and undertaking a range of admin and organisational duties.
The post will have specific responsibility for the delivery of the 12 week Healthy Way programme, and will work autonomously in different locations throughout Medway.
The post holder will be expected to complete basic health measurements and wellbeing assessment, along with agreeing SMART goals during the group sessions. Recognition of the issues common to the referred clients is important to establish this relationship. Group facilitation skills as well as excellent engagement and verbal communication skills will also be required.
