About the role
Project Adder is a Home Office funded initiative that will deliver an innovative approach to addressing the harm caused by drug misuse in Hastings.

At East Sussex County Council we pride ourselves on working with communities and putting their voice at the heart of change.
We are now seeking 2 community engagement officers to gather feedback from our local residents through public consultations in Hastings town centre locations to inform Project ADDER.
This role is ideal for anyone who has great interpersonal skills and is able to convey an open approach to engaging with the public around various aspects of community topics. Flexibility, an inclusive approach to engagement and an ability to think on your feet is essential.
The role is a rewarding casual contract with ESCC to boost skills and experience with an employer who cares about their people and their residents.
We will be interviewing on the dates above but may be able to meet an alternative date and time if required.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
