Tenancy Assistant – Intensive Housing
Salary NS5: £19,698 rising to £20,092 per annum (Pay Award Pending)
37 hours per week

Tenancy Assistants are at the frontline of our high quality, innovative housing services, and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join us.
We are looking for an experienced person to join the specialist housing team working in the Council’s ‘Housing with Care’ schemes in the district. You will be working closely with the elderly and vulnerable adults living in the schemes alongside carers, social care staff and family members. Your primary role is to provide the support necessary to ensure residents can maintain their independence and sustain their tenancy.
You will need to be a caring and compassionate individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of older people and/or vulnerable adults. We are looking for a candidate with experience working in social housing or a similar environment and experience in dealing with members of the public; you will also have experience of inter-agency relationships and hold a CIH Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
You will need a full valid driving licence and have access to a car as, whilst this role will be based predominantly at our new ‘housing with care’ scheme in Boughton, you may be required to travel to other sites or offices across the district. This post is subject to a basic DBS check. We require the post holders to work flexibly in this role to achieve positive outcomes for our tenants and the business in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
